We are excited to revisit the municipality of Yacuanquer, out of the Nariño region of Colombia. It is quickly becoming a regular event on our menu, and that is simply because the coffees we have sourced out of this extremely mountainous region have consistently blown us away. High altitudes and active volcanoes enrich the soil and naturally benefit coffee production. The Andes Mountain Range rolls across this department of Colombia, and includes the Galeras Volcano. Proper picking and processing techniques, nutrient-rich soil, and altitudes between 1850 and 2150 meters above sea level unite this blend of Caturra and Castillo varietals into a remarkable beverage of pleasant tingling acidity that reminds us of sweet and tangy cranberries.
