Kenya AA Kamagogo
This variant is currently sold out
Coffee is a relatively new crop in Kenya. As the industry emerged in the early 1900s, Kenyan farmers had the foresight to build a system that embraced precision, accuracy, and collaboration. Because the coffee industry was constructed on a firm foundation of what works best, the coffee coming out of this country is often considered to be some of the best in the world. Proper processing technique and experimental cross-breeding has produced some incredible coffees. Kamagogo is a AA grade microlot comprised of SL-28 and SL-34 cultivars grown at 1800+masl. The Kamagogo coffee factory, established in 1986, is located in Muranga County and is affiliated with the Kiru Farmer Cooperative Society. The nine acres of coffee land serves four villages and consists of 790 small-holder farmers.
These specially selected lots create an outstanding brew. The Kenya Kamagogo is lively and balanced, and has notes of grapefruit, peach, and raspberry. We’re thrilled to have this beautiful coffee added to our menu.
