If you've been following us for the past 6 years, you may very well have heard of our love for Nelson and his delicious coffee. Nelson Chaves Burbano is a model producer from Yacuanquer, a Municipality in Southern Nariño which is responsible for  some of the best coffee in all of Colombia. Nelson's Farm La Esperanza sits at a cool 2,150 meters in altitude and is mostly Caturra with a small mix of Castillo. Historically, Nelson is not a betting man. He keeps things simple and calculated because that is just his nature- to not play with fate and let nature and his experience run their course. This attitude, coupled with his desire to make yearly improvements to farm infrastructure, has committed us to buying Nelson’s full harvest each year. This cup is full of juicy citric acidity, coupled with the full sweetness that we have come to expect from his hard work.
