This is Metric’s second year offering coffee from Juanra Montero’s high altitude biodynamic Farm in Tarrazu, Costa Rica. This balanced washed lot expresses itself with Satsuma sweetness, deep red fruit flavors that remind us of Strawberry Twizzlers, and complex grape juice notes.
Juanra is a pioneer of sustainable farming practices. Starting in 1985, he has focused on producing coffee in innovative ways that nurture the earth and treat it as a living organism. His deep respect fo the land along with his care in harvesting and processing yield delicious coffees again and again.
