Home Brewing 101
Good coffee has a place in everyone's life: as part of morning rituals and on pleasant evenings with family and friends. But are you running into roadblocks preparing good coffee at home?
Our Metric West Fulton Café Educators are excited to share some of their coffee skills and knowledge with aspiring coffee-lovers looking to take their home brewing to the next level. This class provides students with an understanding of the fundamental principles: water, brew ratio, grind size, time, and temperature; brewing principles applicable to all coffee brewing.
Each attendee will learn fundamental differences between popular brew methods (including Chemex, French Press, and more), taste a variety of brews learning to detect the characteristics of over- and under-extraction coffee, and take home an 8 oz bag of roasters choice coffee:
