We are thrilled to announce an exciting collaboration between Huntsmen and Metric Coffee, bringing together two things we all love: great music and even better coffee. This special partnership has deep personal meaning for us, particularly for Aimee, whose heritage is rooted in the vibrant culture of Colombia. Aimee's roots are a huge part of her identity, and it was her idea to choose Colombian coffee beans for this collaboration.
Colombia is known for producing some of the best coffee beans in the world, and it's no surprise that these beans are the perfect match for our music—rich, bold, and full of character. The beans we’ve chosen come from the Maria Elsi Chavez farm (El Placer Y El Arrayan), where the climate and soil conditions create the perfect environment for coffee cultivation. These beans have a bright, aromatic profile with notes of Damson Plum, Warm Butterscotch, and Makrut Lime —just as layered and complex as the music we create.
We chose to name this coffee after our track ‘Cruelly Dawns’ from our latest record, THE DRY LAND. The song is set characterized as follows:
“Each morning after a cataclysm of devastating change yields a perilous new path of undiscovered horrors, assaulting the mind, body, and soul. You must shed your old self, abandon what you know, carry only what is essential, stalk within the ravenous shadows as you pick your way through the sprawling wasteland, and try to survive.”
Whether you're sipping your morning brew or enjoying a cup during one of our live shows, we hope this coffee will connect us in a special way—over music, culture, and the joy of sharing something we all love.
