La Huaca is a natural-processed coffee from the Huabal district of northern Peru, produced by a small community of farmers and exported with care by Origin Coffee Lab. Grown between 1,780 and 1,980 meters in the highlands of Cajamarca, this lot of Caturra and Yellow Bourbon reflects the rugged beauty of the Andes and the dedication of the families who farm it. After careful hand-picking, the cherries are dried whole on raised beds, a process that preserves the fruit’s inherent sweetness and creates a cup that is lively, layered, and deeply expressive.
