Decaf Huila Pink Bourbon refreshingly expresses the notes of varietal and terroir with the same clarity as our favorite fully caffeinated Colombian coffees. This sugar cane process decaf sings with rich citrus acidity, deep red fruit top notes, and a warm sugar foundation.
When ripe, luscious orange-pink cherries lend Pink bourbon its name. When roasted, it is prized for its complex flavor profile paired with unmatched sweetness. Picked when perfectly pink and fully ripe on the high mountainsides of southwestern Colombia, Decaf Huila Pink Bourbon is sun dried and then has the caffeine gently removed using the natural sugarcane process.
The resulting nuanced coffee brings us just as much joy as this coffee's caffeinated counterparts. In the cup we taste smooth ripe yellow plum fruit notes, deep and lively lime marmalade acidity, underpinned by a layered molasses sweetness.
