Metric's West Town location serves as our flagship café, roastery, training center, and headquarters, nestled in Chicago's Kinzie Corridor. This vibrant area, extending west from Fulton Market, is home to a diverse mix of industries—ranging from modern manufacturing and breweries to distilleries, motorcycle builders, and artist lofts.
We’re open daily from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, offering a selection of baked goods, alongside our full menu of freshly roasted single-origin and blended coffees, cold brew, Spirit Tea, espresso, batch brew, brewing gear, and apparel.

Established on October 10, 2016, our 400-square-foot walk-up café is nestled at the north-east corner of our roastery, offering a unique blend of craftsmanship and community. With a thoughtfully designed glass divider, customers are treated to an insider’s view of our production process, creating a seamless connection between craft and café.
Our space reflects a harmonious blend of modern industrial and Scandinavian-inspired design. From blonde and pink wall and ceiling slats to walnut countertops, glass dividers, and exposed brick, every detail was curated to create a warm, inviting, and creative atmosphere.
